Fraunhofer FOKUS eGovernment Laboratory

The Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communications Systems (FOKUS) and fun communications have signed a co-operation agreement. fun communications presents its solution "SmartAVS", which has already proven itself in operational use, to the public sector in the Fraunhofer FOKUS eGovernment laboratory. SmartAVS allows the age of users to be verified on the Internet using chip cards from the banking industry. This partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute means that it is now possible to evaluate scenarios for the deployment of SmartAVS in the public sector.

M3V - Mobile Multimedia Multi-Supplier Sales Information Systems

The goal of the M3V project is to develop a mobile platform based on open standards to provide universal mobile support for the entire value-adding chain from the manufacturer through to the local independent sales representative. fun communications is responsible for the end-to-end security aspect of the project and is developing an authentication and authorization security module. The M3V project partners are CAS Software AG, businessMart AG, e-pro solutions GmbH and the Fraunhofer-Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation. The project is being supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economics and Technology (BMWi) as part of its sponsoring program "Secure Mobile Information Systems in the Medium-sized Business and Administration Sector" (SimoBIT).

iRegion Karlsruhe

fun communications is an active co-developer of the iRegion Karlsruhe. The Karlsruhe IT region belongs to the largest European software cluster "Software Innovations for the Digital Enterprise", and was awarded the title LEADING CLUSTER in January 2010.
