SmartSign can be used to seal secure and legally
binding contracts on the Internet, such as for example the opening of current
and deposit accounts. To this end, SmartSign combines the security provided by
trust centres conforming to laws governing signatures with the comfort of being
able to conduct the entire procedure directly online. The signature module
SmartSign can easily be integrated into any web portal.
SmartSign uses smartcards that are currently already in circulation in great
numbers as well as the German digital identity card (projected).
